TRAIN STATION LIEBIGSTRAßE
TO THE *EHRENFELDSTUDIOS

HOW TO GET THERE

Coming from the central platform of line 5 in the direction of Ossendorf / Butzweilerhof, we walk along the tactile paving line to the left against the direction of travel to the attention field. 

From the central platform, line 5 in the direction of Heumarkt, we go right in the direction of travel when getting off and follow the tactile paving line to the attention field. 

From here onwards, the route is the same.

Along the central guideline, we walk down the ramp, which has an intermediate level that is secured by a railing.   When we reach the acoustic traffic lights, we turn right. We cross Subbelratherstraße, sharing the lane with a cycle path and the streetcar tracks. The sidewalks are lowered. 

After crossing the road, we turn right and follow the kerb for about 7 meters.

To our left are dark gray tiled pillars, some with bicycles leaning against them. We turn left, passing between the pillars of the corner building, along the wall past the corner building and into Wißmannstraße.

Left along the facades, past 4 garages, we reach house number 38 after approx. 25 meters. 

We stand in front of the open blue steel gate of Ehrenfeldstudios. We turn left through the gate and walk straight ahead for about 7 meters across the courtyard to the entrance of the dance studio opposite, where there is a small step going upwards. We are in the dance studio.

RETURN

 

To return to the Liebigstraße stop, we leave the dance studio with a small step downwards straight ahead approx. 7 meters across the courtyard through the gate and turn right. We keep right along the front of the house, past 4 garages, until we reach the corner house on the right. 

 

From the corner, we continue along the front of the house for approx. 10 meters. We now reach the outside area of a pizzeria with tables and chairs, so we dodge between the pillars to the kerb and follow this to the attention field of the acoustic traffic lights.

 

We cross the road with a lowered kerb. Once on the opposite side, turn left and follow the central guideline up the ramp. 

At the top, the ground indicator splits into two directions.

 

Line 5 in the direction of Heumarkt is on our left. Line 5 in the direction of Ossendorf / Butzweilerhof is therefore on our right-hand side. 

For the left-hand track, there is a covered and enclosed shelter with a bench about 10 meters away. There is another shelter for the right-hand track about 27 meters away.

 

We reach an information mast with an acoustic announcement after 20 meters.
